(RIVERWOODS, IL, December 16, 2015) — Wolters Kluwer today announced its newest learning certification programs for tax professionals are now available. Both the CCH® 1040 Preparation and Planning Certificate Program and the CCH® Compilation and Review Certificate Program offer continuing professional education (CPE) credits for practitioners looking for guidance on the latest regulations and compliance measures to better assist clients in the upcoming tax season.

These certificate programs are the latest learning opportunities within the CCH® Learning Center which features more than 350 online, self-study CPE courses. Additional details about these latest CCH Learning Center course offerings include:

  • CCH 1040 Preparation and Planning Certificate — This detailed program consisting of nine online self-study courses offers expert guidance for preparing individual income tax returns to fully prepare tax professionals for the coming tax return season.  Participants earn a total of 33 CPE credit hours and a Certificate of Achievement upon completion of the final exam.
  • CCH Compilation and Review Certificate — Participants receive detailed guidance for performing compilations, reviews, and preparations in accordance with SSARS 21, which became effective this month. The program offers 17 CPE credit hours and covers all the essentials of compilation, review, and preparation engagements.
